Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026 · RaVo Solutions
Bonbon is a match-3 puzzle game published by RaVo Solutions. This policy explains what the app stores, what the advertising it contains collects, and the choices you have. It covers the Bonbon iOS app and this website, and nothing else.
The short version. Your game progress stays on your device. We have no servers and no account system, and we never see it. The app does show ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects data through those ads, including your device's advertising identifier. You can decline personalised advertising, and you can change your mind at any time from Shop → Privacy options.
1. What the app stores on your device
Your progress is written to your device's local app storage and stays there. It includes your level progress and stars, your coin balance, boosters, daily-reward streak, badges, and gameplay statistics such as games played and best score.
We do not have an account system. We do not upload this data, and we cannot read it. Deleting the app deletes it.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Bonbon shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. There are two kinds:
- Reward videos you choose to watch in exchange for coins or extra moves. These are always optional.
- Interstitials shown occasionally between levels.
To serve, measure and report on these ads, Google receives and processes data about your device. According to Google's documentation this can include:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Device advertising identifier (IDFA / IDFV) | To select ads, limit repeats, measure performance, and, where you have allowed it, to personalise ads and measure them across other companies' apps and websites |
| Device and app information (model, operating system version, app version, language, network type) | To deliver a compatible ad and diagnose problems |
| Coarse location, derived from your IP address | To meet local legal requirements and select regionally appropriate ads |
| Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view duration, reward completion) | To measure and pay for advertising, and to detect invalid traffic |
Google acts as an independent controller of this data. What Google does with it is governed by its own policies, not ours:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses data from sites and apps that use its services
- AdMob and third-party advertising partners
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone other than as described here.
3. Your choices
App Tracking Transparency
On first launch, iOS asks whether Bonbon may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not made available for that purpose and the ads you see are not personalised in that way. Ads still appear either way. Declining does not remove them, it makes them less relevant. You can change this answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or in Settings → Bonbon.
Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland and certain US states)
If you are in a region where consent is required, a Google-provided consent message appears before any ad is requested, and you choose there whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from Shop → Privacy options inside the app. If you withdraw consent, ads already prepared under the old choice are discarded.
Removing ads
The Remove Ads purchase and the Bonbon Club subscription both stop the interstitial ads shown between levels. Optional reward videos remain available, because watching one is always your choice. Removing ads does not change what Google collects if you later choose to watch a reward video.
4. Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase or subscription is currently valid. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
5. Children
Bonbon is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising in the app is capped at a General audiences content rating. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will act on it.
6. Data retention
Because game data never leaves your device, we hold none of it and there is nothing for us to delete. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own retention policies, linked above.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data about you, and to object to certain processing. Since we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data should be directed to Google using the links in section 2. We are happy to help you work out where to send a request. Write to us at the address below.
8. This website
This site is static and sets no cookies of its own. It is hosted by Netlify, which may record standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to operate the service. See the Netlify Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or how it is used, the "last updated" date above changes and the revised policy is published here before the change takes effect in a released version of the app.
